Dramabuds Teachers

Rebecca Wall
Rebecca is the founder and director of dramabuds. Her expertise is in providing interactive storytelling workshops for young audiences.  Prior to setting up dramabuds in 2008 Rebecca worked as an arts facilitator and arts and education project manager for  renowned arts organisations including Cardboard Citizens, Cirque du Soleil  Creative Partnerships, Windsor Arts Centre and Theatre Exchange.   When Rebecca is  not teaching a dramabuds class you will find her in the dramabuds office or in the park with her 3 children.

Rachel Drew
Rachel Joins dramabuds as our first Franchisee and will be running classes in the Coulsdon area from September 2016! Since graduating from Artsed in 2004, Rachel has worked in many different areas of the Arts; from working as a professional Actor and Singer to training as a Performing Arts teacher. Then progressing from working as the Training Coordinator for a community Theatre company in Hackney to delivering Music sessions to preschool children after having her daughter. Rachel has been inspired by how much her daughter gets out of attending Dramabuds and is excited to be putting her creative and educational skills to use, starting up new sessions in the Coulsdon area. When not at dramabuds Rachel can be found providing careers guidance to the students at The BRIT School. 

Gabrielle Beasley
Gabrielle is back at Dramabuds again after two exciting years travelling around Italy, teaching English and drama to Italians big and small. She has worked as an actor, summer camp tutor, language teacher and workshop facilitator and is delighted to finally get back to teaching drama again. She loves watching the children’s imaginations come to life and finds helping shy students gain confidence particularly rewarding. When not at Dramabuds, Gabrielle can be found playing her ukulele, browsing second-hand bookshops and dreaming about her next travel adventure.

Roxanna Kennedy
Roxanna brings a wealth of experience to dramabuds having completed an MA in Applied Drama at Goldsmiths and leading drama workshops and projects for children at The Unicorn Theatre and The Albany.

Victoria Waddington
Victoria trained The London Drama School and has been an early years drama practitioner with dramabuds for over 7 years, leading private classes, nursery adventures and entertaining at over 600 children’s parties! When not at Dramabuds Victoria can be found performing on stage as both an actor and singer recent performances include ‘Ma’ in the Christmas Pantomime Hansel & the cowardly lion in The Wizard Of Oz.

Michal Paker
Michal has completed an MA in Applied Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama during which she worked with children and teenagers to improve confidence using drama. Before her MA, Michal had trained in physical theatre and had spent a year in Japan teaching English to Japanese people of all ages. She is excited to join Dramabuds and teach drama again. When not at Dramabuds, Michal can be found cooking vegetarian food, dancing, and travelling around the world.

Georgia Thompson
Georgia trained  in Community Theatre at the Brit School of performing arts and brings to dramabuds bags of  energy and enthusiasm. Georgia’s  past experience includes leading  Early Stages classes for  Stagecoach,  volunteering at  Chicken Shed and Cardboard Citizens and running drama classes in America for children of all ages. When Georgia is not at dramabuds you will find her working out in the gym whilst eating chocolate!

Sophie Carmichael
Sophie studied Drama at Exeter University, and works as an actor  recently performing at venues such as the Theatre Royal, Bath and New  Wimbledon Studio. Sophie is a fantastic drama leader for schools and nurseries with a wealth of experience and a very talented party  entertainer, always keen for a spot of dressing up and a nice storytelling session. Sophie enjoys spending the summer at festivals,  eating sushi, and making her own unique greetings cards.
