Ishani Basu
Ishani trained as an Actress, graduating in 2008 with a degree in Performing Arts. Since then, she has worked as a jobbing Actor. Children’s theatre credits include: Honk!, Robin Hood and Aladdin. Ishani has always had an avid interest in delivering drama workshops to children and enjoys seeing their imagination in action and admires their complete commitment to the world we invite them to join in. When Ishani is not acting or at dramabuds, you will find her working as a Teaching assistant for schools. Ishani’s hobbies include cycling, laughing and the baking and eating of cakes!

Sophie Carmichael
Sophie studied Drama at Exeter University, and works as an actor-
recently performing at venues such as the Theatre Royal, Bath and New
Wimbledon Studio. Sophie is a fantastic drama leader for schools and nurseries with a wealth of experience and a very talented party
entertainer, always keen for a spot of dressing up and a nice
storytelling session. Sophie enjoys spending the summer at festivals,
eating sushi, and making her own unique greetings cards.

Bernie Kemble
Bernie trained at the Arts Educational School and is a member of’ Equity’ working as a professional actress, for the West End and television, Bernie brings a wealth of experience to dramabuds and holds a holds a BA Honours degree inj Performance Studies and an MA in Arts and Cultural Management. Bernie loves teaching dramabuds and is very enthusiastic, energetic and fun! On her days off you may find her at Polesden Lacey, where see volunteers for the National Trust.

Penny Levick

Penny grew up in Holland the daughter of a choreographer and a set designer. She has loved and lived theatre all her life. She is trained at the London International School of Performing Arts and brings a wealth of experience to Dramabuds as a performer, director, drama workshop facilitator, choreographer and musician. Her heart lies in physical theatre and collaborating with other minds to create new work, with adults and with children. Penny is delighted with Dramabuds’ approach to playfulness and imaginative learning and especially looks forward to the end of term performances!
